Annual ride set for JW trail

The John Wayne Pioneer Wagon and Trail Riders have set the dates for their ride across the state on the trail for this year. They plan to start the ride at Easton May 17 and finish at Tekoa June 2.

Overnight stops in the county will be at Revere May 28, Ewan May 29, Malden May 30 and 31. The second day in Malden will be a rest stop and members of the Malden OES will serve dinner to the group that night.

They will ride to Rosalia June 1, and arrive in Tekoa June 2. Members of the group will have the option of going on to the trail’s end at the Idaho state line on Sunday, June 3.
