New Twitter account parodies Coker

A new Twitter account for Almost Coker was started Dec. 15, a blatant parody of Whitman County Auditor Eunice Coker.

The account for @EunuchCoker states it is a “parody account for Whitman County auditor, to provide satirical statement on utter incompetance & lack of accountability. All twitter and first amendment legal.”

“Interesting,” was Coker’s first comment when learning about the new account. A previous account by @snortingcoker, which did not frankly attest it was a parody and was cited by officials as being from Coker herself, was closed during the first week of December. Coker said it is interesting that this time the person doing it is following Twitter’s rules.

“The spelling is horrendous, and I’m very particular about spelling and punctuation,” she said.

A Dec. 19 post stated, “Noone at the county has done anything yo undermine or dispute the Pullman city’s decision.”

Whoever is writing the new Twitter account has such “atrocious” spelling and grammar anyone reading it who knows her would know it was not her, Coker added.

The account uses a picture and cites an article from an Oct. 27, 2017, Daily News issue. The tone and comments of the article are more venomous than those used by @snortingcoker.

“I’m back so i hope the @mpdailynews is ready to get my inside scoop on everything I think, my legal opinions and how our county commissioners are bad for my personal businesses. I’d put the Whitman County Gazette on this but their not on twitter because they suck. #LiberalMedia” and “so funny that pullman thinks there so much better than i am but whose the one having to rerun they’re electoin? EXACTLY! I should have been an lawyer,” two Dec. 15 tweets state.

“Low-minded people will do what they do. I kind of feel sorry for them,” Coker said.
