Weis Towers LLC proposes the construction of a new 299’ cell tower and a 10’ by 20’ equipment shelter. The site is owned by Mark and Vicky Hemighaus and accessed off Becker Road. It is located in the Agricultural District on Bald Butte, in the NW ¼ of Section 12, Township 13 N., Range 45 E., W.M., Whitman County, Washington.

After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with us, the Planning Office has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

An administrative use permit is being issued by the County Planner for this project. County code allows for an administrative review if waivers are obtained from any residence within 1,500 feet of the antenna support structure. There are no residences within this distance.
