Sharps celebrate 50th anniversary

Ralph and Maureen Sharp of Liberty Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise week-long family gathering June 17-23. Sharp, who was raised in St. John, and Maureen Morton, who was raised in Lamont, were married June 23 in St. John. He was employed as a teacher, coach and principal at Liberty and then served at Mead where he was a junior high principal. She was a teacher at Mead for 30 years before retiring. Their two children are Kurt (Sarah) Sharp, Gilbert, Ariz., and Tami (Christopher) Berry, Albany, Ore. They have four grandchildren....
