Heather Heaton Reynoso and sons arrived at the home of Blake and Carmen Heaton last week from Mexico City where they had been visiting family and friends. They will be here through the summer.

Sunday evening, Blake and Carmen Heaton hosted “A Concert in the Backyard.” Grandson Valente Reynoso played guitar and sang for an audience of about 30 people. He was joined by Jim Fitzgerald for a couple of songs. The concert lasted for about an hour.

Guests at the home of Lucky and Joan Myrick last weekend were Joan’s cousin, Phyllis Stevenson and daughter Taylor of Portland. They arrived Friday evening and enjoyed Farmer’s Fest and Joan’s class reunion. On Sunday, they traveled to Spokane to visit with Bill Floyd, Phyllis’ uncle. He is 102 years old. They met Joan’s cousin, Camille Patterson, to celebrate Joan’s birthday. They returned home Monday.

Karen Broeckel was a guest at a party a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Andrew Nolan’s 30th birthday. The party took place at the celebrant’s home in Spokane. His family, Emily, Lauren, Grady, Holden and Murphy, hosted the event. Also attending were Jeanette Nolan, Greg and Gwen Nolan, Richard and Nancy Tennant, Ken and Pam Beasley, Trevor Ovens, and Ryan Ovens and Michelle.
