Steptoe store robbed

Sheriff’s Deputy Paul Reavis early May 16 responded to a report of a burglary at the Steptoe store. The burglary was reported at about 6:30 a.m.

The door to the store had been pried open, and approximately $500 in cash was reported missing. Two post office boxes located at the store had also been pried open, according to the preliminary report
