COAST GUARD BOAT SALVAGED

The U.S. Coast Guard boat which capsized on the Snake River May 17 has been recovered.

According to a report from the Coast Guard office at Astoria, Global Diving and Salvage in Seattle was contracted to salvage the 26-foot aluminum boat.

They righted the boat and pumped out water which had flooded it after it capsized.
