Butch greets big purple at Wawawai

Butch the Cougar greets a small contingent of rowing fans from the University of Washington April 29 in a crew version of the Apple Cup on the Snake River. The UW banner flew at the end of the Wawawai breakwater which was otherwise covered by WSU supporters bearing crimson and gray banners. Although Butch and the Cougar fans won in the crowd support count, the UW rowers swept the card for the morning event....
