Thursday, April 6

Colfax Hyde Out – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge, and see who has the smarts to take home the prize. Remember your library card for a bonus point.

Friday, April 7

Malden – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – All paid and unpaid caregivers are welcome. We offer coffee and a light lunch with Rural Resources employee Melissa Johnson Held every first and third Friday of the month.

Saturday, April 8

Rosalia’s Brass Rail – 7 p.m. – Trivia Night – Join us for Rosalia’s very first TRIVIA NIGHT. Bring your team or join one when you arrive, test your knowledge, and win great prizes. Remember your library card for an extra point.

Sunday, April 9

All Branches – WCL’s annual Penny Drive is April 9 to 26 at all 14 branches. Bring your change into the library you use most and donations will go to fund their library programs. The WCL Penny Drive is held in honor of National Library Week, an observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country to celebrate the contributions of its loyal patrons and dedicated staff.

Monday, April 10

St. John – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Tech Help Monday – Need help with your computer, tablet or smartphone? On the second Monday of each month, the library offers technological help for adults. Drop in with questions or just have a cup of coffee.

LaCrosse – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – BINGO and Pie – This fun and free event is open to all ages. Join us at the Gathering Place if you are feeling lucky.

Endicott Food Center – 5:30 p.m. – Family Trivia – Families with children 5 and older head to Endicott Food Center for a $5 spaghetti dinner and fun trivia game concerning subjects such as Disney, Science, National Parks, etc.

Albion and LaCrosse – Book Club – Check our online calendar for specifics about your branch.

Tuesday, April 11

Colfax – 10 to 11 a.m. – Toddler and Preschool Tech Time – Storytime with a digital twist. Children will enjoy songs, rhymes and stories with multimedia elements and animation from 10 – 10:30 a.m., followed by parent and child interactive STEM stations from 10:30 – 11 a.m.

Albion – 5 p.m. – Water Color – Adults and teens, join us for a FREE painting class led by local artist Kat Downes.

Wednesday, April 12

St. John – 1 to 3 p.m. – Color Me Crafty – Did you know that coloring promotes relaxation, reduces stress, AND can help improve your overall mood? That’s right, coloring isn’t just for kids anymore. Drop in and enjoy cookies, coloring and conversation with other adults.

Uniontown – 5 p.m. – Girls’ Night Out – Treat yourself to a fun, crafty night out with friends. Held every second Wednesday of the month.

St. John – 6:30 p.m. – Pajama Storytime - Get comfy in your favorite PJs and come hear bedtime stories at the library. Bring the whole family to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes.

Thursday, April 13

Colton – 6 p.m. – Book Club – This month we are discussing the book “The Full Cupboard of Life” by Alexander McCall Smith. Everyone is welcome.
