Trial date set for burglary suspects

A Jan. 23 trial date was set for each of the two Clarkston women who have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries in the northwest corner of the county Sept. 24. Christina Erlewine, 23, and Justina Buffington, 31, each pleaded guilty to three charges of second- degree burglary.

Each was charged Dec. 2 with breaking into the Endicott school, the Endicott Library and the St. John Christian Assembly. According to investigation report, Erlewine and Buffington are also suspected of two other break-ins in Whitman County and also in Sprague and Lind and in Benewah County, Idaho.
