Schmidt sentenced to 60 days in jail

Wyatt Schmidt, 18, Colfax resident who was charged with adding tip charges onto credit card purchases of pizzas he delivered to customers of Westside Pizza, was sentenced to 60 days in jail Friday morning after he pleaded guilty to one charge of forgery. Schmidt, who told the court he was now working long days for a tire shop in Pullman, was allowed to begin the sentence starting Feb. 1, after the winter tire purchasing rush.
