Canola reports set for Colfax breakfast

Next farmers direct seed breakfast will be Nov. 16 at 7 a.m. at the United Methodist Church at S. Mill Street in Colfax. Speakers will be Aaron Esser, WSU field educator in Adams County, and Daniel Stenbakken, agronomist with the Viterra Oilseed Crushing Firm in Warden. Esser will discuss the recent harvest results of the spring canola variety research at the Tracy Eriksen farm near St. John. Stenbakken will discuss Viterra's canola pricing schedule and the outlook for oilseed markets.
