St. John Pharmacy plans in-town move

The St. John Pharmacy is making a move down the street. Currently located at 18 E. Front Street, the pharmacy will move a couple doors down.

“We're downsizing,” said owner Michelle Welch, who has been with the pharmacy for 12 years. “Dynamics have changed, and we needed to be proactive.”

The pharmacy – which has been in business for about 20 years – has been operating as a pharmacy and a small retail shop with merchandise that includes cards, gifts and seasonal and holiday decorations. It has also had a soda fountain. Those aspects of the business will be gone from the new location.
