Colfax school directors get hiring, policy updates

Track updates, hiring personnel and a first reading for policy proposals highlighted the Colfax School Board meeting Monday night.

Janel Stirling, the new Colfax secretary for junior/senior high, was introduced by Superintendent Jerry Pugh.

“We just saw a blur of work coming on ... still going strong and fast,” Pugh commented on Stirling's start.

Washington State School Directors Association updates on four policies which the board re-evaluates periodically were presented for a first reading.
