'Rabbit Hole'

to open run

Regional Theatre of the Palouse, 122 N Grand Ave., Pullman, will open "Rabbit Hole," a 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama recipient, to kick off the Rural Theater of the Palouse AfterDark Series with performances Sept. 22, 23, 24, 30 and Oct. 1. Performances start at 8 p.m.

Bank Left will

open fall season

The Bank Left Gallery and Bistro at Palouse will open its fall season with Colfax artist and WSU faculty member Carrie Vielle, in collaboration with Palouse artist and chef, Nelson Duran, "Understanding Space, Art and Conversation" will be the theme.

The exhibit will open Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a luncheon from noon to 3 p.m. It will run until Oct. 22.

Hill-Ray news

Hill-Ray hosted the class of 1956 for its 60-year reunion Aug. 6 then followed with a benefit for Gracie Ventenhimer followed with a BBQ and a Hootenanny. With the short time of putting the benefit together, Rosauers, Pullman Walmart, and Food Services of America all donated food to help.

Other major contributors were Anne Pillers of Friends of Hospice, the cooks and servers of Hill-Ray, musicians for the Hootenanny: Ukulele players of the Palouse, guitarist Tim Stamper of LaCrosse and Kirk Schmick of Spokane.

Gracie was unable to attend because she was having her eighth surgery that day.

In September, 14 birthdays were celebrated with a special dinner and cake while attendees were entertained by the Pullman Kitchen Band and Kirk Schmick.

Hill-Ray's next brunch, open to the public, will be Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Call to make a reservation.

Luck, Ethan Michael, born Sept. 13 at six pounds, 12 ounces, to Kyle and Brittney Luck, Pullman. Paternal grandparents are Carl and Lisa Luck, Camano Island, Wash. Maternal grandparents are Bruce and Linda Lundberg, Arlington, Wash. Baby joins sister Eliana, 2.
