Tekoa trio to talk at state trails confab

Ted Blaszak, Monte Morgan and Fred Wagner, officers of the Tekoa Trail and Trestle Association, have been scheduled to present a program at the Washington State Trails Coalition's 11th biennial trails conference in Richland Oct. 13-15. Their session will be titled “Taking Fast Action to Save the Longest Rail-Trail in America, the John Wayne Pioneer Trail.”

The title of the conference is “Creating Community, Connecting Community” and is sponsored by REI Co-Op, Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office and Green Trails Maps.
