Library summer reading attracts 500 plus youngsters

Whitman County Library Summer Reading youth logged more than 5,180 hours of reading time to complete the 2016 reading program. “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read” was the theme of the program presented by a consortium of states working together to provide public libraries with high quality program materials. Sponsors, Friends of the Library and volunteers donated money, incentives and time to the program.
