'Paranormal Lockdown' at Colfax

The show is “Paranormal Lockdown,” which airs on the Destination America network.

Hosted by paranormal investigator Nick Groff, also host of “Ghost Adventures” on the Travel Channel, and researcher Katrina Weidman, the production was in Colfax Sept. 23-25 shooting for its second season.

They spent 72 hours in lockdown inside the St. Ignatius Hospital with a camera crew.

In season one, the hosts spent lockdown hours in the same format at sites around the country which are said to be haunted. These included the closed Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, West Virginia; Randolph County Infirmary in Winchester, Ind .; a shuttered hotel in Kentucky, and mansions in Hinsdale, N.Y .; Cleveland, Ohio; Staten Island, N.Y., and Yorkshire, England.

Season one of “Paranormal Lockdown” began in March. Season two will air in 2017.

Destination America is a cable channel owned by Discovery Communications.

Weidman previously appeared on the A&E series “Paranormal State.”
