Colfax airport fly-in trophy winners named

Art Sager of Dusty received the “best contemporary” trophy among entries at the fly-in June 25 at the Colfax Airport. Sager brought his new Mooney 20 J to the show.

Brock Hill of Palouse won best classic honors with a 1955 Cessna 180, and Lonnie Roth of Spokane won best experimental honors with a 2004 RV 6.

The 1928 Boeing 40C flown down from Felts Field in Spokane by Addison Pemberton received the best antique trophy and the overall People’s Choice. The Ryan PT 22 flown up from Lewiston by Jay Cawley and the Bucker Jungmann flown from Deer Park by Kelly Mahon received honorable mention.
