Election filing correction

City council and mayoral seats will not be on this year's general election ballot, according to Debbie Hooper, elections supervisor. Last week's article on election filings incorrectly stated some seats across the county would be up for election in November.

Local city and town elections are normally conducted in odd years, Hooper said.
