Palouse Main Street suspect crashes

Skyeler Nelson, the Burlington resident who was arrested in Palouse March 6 in what turned out to be an investigation of a counterfeiting case, was involved in a one-car accident the next afternoon on Highway 195 after his release from jail that morning on his own recognizance.

Nelson was driving a 2002 Honda Civic northbound at 2:49 p.m., and the car drifted onto the shoulder of the highway. He over-corrected, and the car crossed the highway and struck the guardrail along the southbound side of the highway.
