Travis Howell, the new principal at Jennings Elementary School in Colfax, grew up in Clarkston and graduated from Clarkston High School in 2000. He grew up between Clarkston and Asotin with a mom who worked for the school and a dad who worked for the telephone company. Friends and relatives had farms where he enjoyed riding on combines and driving trucks.
