Colfax hammers big wins at West Valley tourney

Colfax boys hammered out two big wins at the West Valley tournament to run their season record to 5-4. The Bulldogs Tuesday afternoon dropped the Tonasket Tigers 67-28 in the second round of the big Eagles' Holiday tournament. Colfax held the Tigers to just 13 points in the first half while rolling up 45 points with a 29-point blitz in the second quarter.

Coach Reece Jenkin put the bench to work in the second-round runaway.

Senior Danny Robinson led the Bulldogs with 13 points during limited action.

In the first tourney round Monday, Colfax rapped Colville 64-33 with another first half explosion. They led 32-13 after two quarters. Robinson broke out for 20 beans in the first tournament round.
