Dusty families gather to celebrate Christmas

Visiting at the home of their parents, Ed and Joan Broeckel, from last week Monday through Thursday, were Anthony and Jen Harkishnani of Seattle and from last Wednesday to this week Tuesday, Amber Broeckel of Boise.

Meggie Perron, Walla Walla, spent three days at the home of her grandmother, Fran Jones. Warren and Julie Jones, Hayden, Idaho, arrived Christmas morning. Son Bryan came for brunch and dinner with the family. They were joined by Bryan’s daughter Emelie Jones. Meggie returned to Walla Walla on the 26th. Emelie returned to Spokane on the 27th.

On Christmas Eve, Carol and Don Keeney and Mike Stine, LaCrosse; Joan and Lucky Myrick, Dusty; Kevin, Amber, Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick Brink, Kennewick, and John, Brandi and Myla Brink joined Larry and Di Brink for dinner and then celebrated at the Christmas Eve candlelight service at Selbu Lutheran Church. On Christmas Day, Mike Stine and Joan and Lucky Myrick joined Di and Larry for Christmas dinner.

David and Phyllis Stueckle celebrated Christmas with their children and grandchildren this past weekend. Karen, Larry, Emmaly and Joshua Light of Portland stayed from Saturday through Monday. Doug and Cheryl Stueckle, Ashleigh Stueckle and Andrea and Mark Davis, all of Coeur d’Alene, stayed Saturday and Sunday.

Many Dusty residents attended candlelight services at Selbu Lutheran Church Christmas Eve. Some of them included David and Phyllis Stueckle, Linda Hennigar, Dale and Vicki Broeckel, Kim Gustafson, Doreen Riedner and Denise Kendall.

Celebrating Christmas Day at the home of Oscar Broeckel were Brian and Angela Broeckel and Graham, Tom and Doreen Riedner, Tony and Denise Kendall and Karen Broeckel.
