Truck crash in storm blocks highway 195

A tractor-trailer truck went out of control during the Nov. 17 wind storm and rolled over, blocking Highway 195 eight-tenths of a mile west of Pullman. The driver, Watheaq M. Al Darraji, Kent, complained of pain in a leg after the crash. The wrecked truck blocked both lanes of travel, and the highway remained closed until 11:14 p.m. that night. Traffic was diverted through Pullman on Highway 27 and Albion Road.

According to the accident report, Al Darraji was driving a 2015 Freightliner tractor-trailer northbound and was hit by a severe crosswind and went out of control just west of Pullman.
