Duo escapes unhurt after tree crushes shop

The bull pine tree which fell from the hillside by the Line’s home fills their spare bedroom in the back of the house. The tree collapsed onto their shop and destroyed it. Linda Line was in the shop when the tree came down, and Tony Line was in the backyard near the shop. The back bedroom, as well as the shop, were totaled.

Linda Line was in her backyard shop on Perkins Avenue in Colfax last Tuesday night, Nov. 17, during the windstorm which reached peak speeds of 70 miles per hour. She was talking to her daughter on her land line when she heard a noise.
