Robert and Sandi Glorfield mark 50th

The Glorfields are celebrating 50 years together.

Robert and Sandi Glorfield celebrated their a 50th wedding anniversary at a gathering of family and friends for dinner at The Max restaurant at Mirabeau Park Hotel in Spokane Valley.

A video slide show created to commemorate the occasion was shared during the evening.

Robert and Sandi were married Sept. 12, 1965, in the First United Methodist Church in St. John.

Robert attended the Ewan School until his freshman year at St. John High School where he met Saundra (Sandi) Lynn Knittel.

Sandi attended the St. John schools from K-12th grade and they both graduated in the SJHS Class of 1964.

Robert then enrolled and attended SCC for a time prior to being employed on the family farm near Ewan.

Sandi attended Kelsey-Baird Business College and worked in Spokane until their marriage.

Throughout their marriage they have lived and worked on the farm together and are now in retirement mode.

The two sons and their families, Jack Robert Glorfield, III, and Kellie of St. John with their family, Lane Glorfield of Cheney and Abby Glorfield of St. John; Douglas Allen Glorfield and (fiancé) Jamie Riggin Caine with their family of Spokane, Braedyn Caine, Jordan Caine and Jamie Peyton Glorfield.
