Oakesdale hosting town yard sale Oct. 3

Oakesdale will hold the second of two 2015 town yard sales Oct. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Maps will be available at Crossett's Market.

During the day, the McCoy Valley Museum will sell hamburgers, hot dogs and beer brauts to raise money for operation and upkeep with potato chips and drinks also available.

The food sale starts at 10 a.m. with no set time for closing.

“As long as people are coming and eating, we'll be here,” said Gail Parsons, museum representative.

Parsons' brauts, a previous hit at Oakesdale's Old Mill Days celebration, are soaked in Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve, onions, garlic, caraway seed, mustard seed, ginger and coriander.
