SJE hires Suzanne Schmick to be interim superintendent

Suzanne Schmick, longtime teacher and former principal at Endicott, has been named interim superintendent for the St. John/Endicott school district.

She will take the position which has been held by James Baldwin for the past year on an interim basis.

Baldwin was hired after Gary Wargo departed to head the Cle Elum-Roslyn districts.

Wargo, who spent most of his years here as superintendent at LaCrosse, served both the SJE and LaCrosse districts as top administrator for three years before taking the Cle-Elum post.

Wargo came to LaCrosse in 2000.
