WHMC recognized

With improvements in patient re-admissions, Whitman Hospital and Medical Center has been named the recipient of the Award of Excellence: Critical Access Hospital award by Qualis Health.

Whitman Hospital implemented a Re-Admission Reduction program, aiming to reduce the amount of re-admissions at the hospital within 30 days of discharge. Specifically, the program focused on reducing re-admissions for patients with congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction and pneumonia.
