Smart driver class set

An eight-hour AARP smart driver class will be conducted May 19 in the lower level conference room at Whitman Hospital and Medical Center. The class will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m. with a break for lunch.

The class is designed for drivers 50 and over, but it is open to individuals of any age. Class fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Completion of the class can entitle attendees to a reduction in insurance premiums.
