Palouse slates screening May 6

Palouse School will hold a free kindergarten and preschool screening Wednesday, May 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the elementary school.

Children are eligible for preschool if they are 3 or 4 years old. To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years of age as of midnight, Aug. 31, 2015. Kindergarten screening for school readiness is recommended for children who have not been enrolled in the Palouse Preschool. The screening takes about 30 minutes and includes vision, hearing, language, motor, and general development checks. Results will be provided to the parents.
