Robotics team earns world entry

The Sciborgs, the robotics team made up of students from Colfax, Colton, Garfield/Palouse, Moscow and Pullman, competed in the Pacific Northwest Championships at Eastern Washington University. After advancing to the quarter finals, the team finished in 12th place and earned a spot in the F.I.R.S.T. World Championship in St. Louis April 23-25. The team also was honored by receiving the Engineering Excellence Trophy for their uniquely designed robot. Palouse Area Robotics Team is funded by grants, local businesses and private donors.
