Sinkbeil entry leads to $2,500 prize for hospital

Whitman Community Hospital Foundation received a donation of $2,500 from Bruce Sinkbeil, a member of the 1974 Colfax High School class who is now a math teacher at Newburg, Ore.

Sinkbeil received the $2,500 through Monsanto’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities competition.

He is a college classmate of Bob Stueckle and maintains contact with the farm scene here by helping Stueckle in harvest.
