HOPE will assist Lone Pine volunteers

The Helping Other People Everywhere service club of Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle will assist Friends of Lone Pine Cemetery on a work day April 22.

The day will begin with the group’s regular meeting at 11 a.m. with lunch at the Feeding Station in Tekoa. From there, members will meet the HOPE crew at the cemetery for brush clean-up around cemetery headstones.

All others are welcome and encouraged to join the effort. Tools and equipment will be available for any other volunteers who would like to help. Refreshments will be served.
