Colfax accepts River Pointe subdivision

Colfax City Council March 16 accepted River Pointe Subdivision, the housing site project developed by Scott Ackerman along the South Fork of the Palouse River. City Administrator Michael Rizzitiello reported hydrants and water services have been installed in the subdivision.

An eight-inch main was used to extend water service into the subdivision. The eight-inch line connects with a six-inch main which serves Bellinger St., and at some point the city could undertake converting the six inch main to eight inches to match up with the size of the pipe in the new addition.
