Port officials report on capitol mission trip topics

Port of Whitman County Chairman Tom Kammerzell and Executive Director Joe Poire Monday reported on topics of discussion during the Washington, D.C., trip.

Port staffer Kara Riebold also attended and assisted with the report.

The Pacific Northwest Waterways Association hosted several speakers during the annual session.

“We had good meetings,” Kammerzell said. “Overall the trip was very good.”
