Sunday benefit boosts Lyle fund

The benefit dinner and auction for Jim and Bonnie Lyle, whose ranch house near Union Center was destroyed by fire last summer, drew a steady flow of diners through the serving line at the Palouse Empire Fair Community Building Sunday. The dinner, silent auction and live auction extended over three hours. Proceeds from the auctions were approximately $1,500. Chuck Lyman was the auctioneer.
