Comprehensive Financial System Assessment

Whitman County, Washington

Whitman County, State of Washington is looking for qualified individuals, companies or organizations to conduct a comprehensive financial management assessment of the Whitman County government organization, principle offices located in Colfax, Washington.

The purposes are to have an assessment of the current financial system and processes including:

* Documentation of the system and processes currently in place, and

* A list of specific recommendations for improving the accuracy, functionality and efficiency of the County's financial system and finally,

* Recommend changes which would enable better and timelier financial management information necessary for decision makers.

Those wishing to be considered should send pertinent information not to exceed 15 pages in length demonstrating at a minimum the following:

* Professional qualifications to conduct the assessment and the experience necessary to make recommendations regarding Whitman County's financial management system.

* Experience in conducting:

* Comprehensive assessments of County Government

* Process documentation and

* Synthesizing recommendations for improvement of processes.

* Previous experience in conducting financial assessments and making recommendations for County Government financial operations in Washington State.

* Documentation showing successful implementation of your recommendations by other clients.

* Documentation showing the necessary resources being available to complete the job in an expeditious manner
