Lewiston man drives pickup into Colfax computer store

A pickup truck driven by a Lewiston resident plowed into a traffic light standard and crashed into Colfax Computer Services at the southeast corner of Main and Wall streets early Saturday morning.

The police report identified the driver as Charles P. Craigen, 47, Lewiston.

According to the report, officers received a report of the downtown crash at 1:57 a.m. Witnesses said they saw a man walk away from the accident scene, and Sheriff’s Sgt. Dan Brown located the driver about a block away from the scene.
