Harp attends anti-drug conference in D.C.

Diane Harp of the Healthy Tekoa Coalition returned from a recent conference in Washington, D.C., with a call to action.

On Feb. 2-7, she was at the National Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America conference held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.

While there, she attended three days of workshops and speakers, including Dr. Nora Volkow, the Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, who talked about research on brain development. Another speaker was former Congressman Patrick Kennedy.
