Swannack will head commission

Whitman County Commissioner Art Swannack was elected to serve as chairman of the board on Monday morning.

Vice Chairman is Commissioner Dean Kinzer.

Both commissioners just finished their first year on the board, being sworn in December, 2012.

The third commissioner on the board is Michael Largent.

Swannack will serve one year as the chairman.
