Charge cites fraternity vandalism

Jacob Wilcox, 20, has been summoned to appear in court Jan. 10 on a charge involving alleged vandalism at a fraternity house on Linden Street in Pullman.

The investigation report said police responded Sept. 14 to a report from the Beta Theta Pi fraternity that a bench had been taken from their yard. The report also said a hose had also been stuck through an opening in the basement of the fraternity and water turned into the basement to cause flooding.

The report said surveillance cameras had been placed around the house which showed individuals involved.

The missing bench was recovered at the neighboring AGR fraternity house. Officers advised members of the Beta house to refrain from undertaking retaliation.
