Toybox changes format

The format for the Firemen’s Toybox which serves families around the county has changed this year. Families who visit the toybox will be asked to obtain an application at one of several locations around the county.

The Toybox for years has operated with the state DSHS office which listed families who could visit the toybox. That service will not be available this year.

Fire Department Chaplain Ken McNaughton said families can qualify this year by submitting an application. The firemen plan to leave applications at fire departments around the county, library branches and schools.
