CORONER ISSUES STANTON REPORT

County Coroner Pete Martin Tuesday issued a final finding in the death of Devin M. Stanton, 29, June 12 at Colfax. The finding confirms an earlier report that Mr. Stanton died from ingesting Kratom which is known to cause rapid heart rate and malignant hyperthermia which can cause the body’s temperature to increase as high as 106 degrees.
