Workshop on grazing plans set

Local Whitman County Conservation Districts are partnering with Natural Resources Conservation Service to offer a free grazing plan workshop for producers Nov. 21-22 in Colfax. NRCS rangeland management specialists will guide producers through grazing plan development steps and be available to answer questions. Producers will leave the workshop with a completed draft grazing plan for their operations. Interested producers should call Palouse Conservation District at (509)332-4101 to register.

Palouse Conservation currently has cost-share available for implementation of conservation practices in the Palouse River watershed and surrounding watersheds.
