Uniontown: New homes for new buyers

Four homes are being built in Uniontown for individuals, couples and families with moderate incomes.

Community Action Center in Pullman received a construction loan and is working with Community Frameworks to provide opportunities to first-time homebuyers, according to Sandy Martines, CAC Housing Assistant Program Manager.

First-time home buyers can become home owners without a down payment by completing interior painting and landscaping. Martines said these homes will be Energy Star certified that will keep utility costs very low making home ownership more affordable.
