ORDINANCE NO. 372 2013-10

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LACROSSE, WASHINGTON, new, reclassifying and renumbering town funds for state reporting and managerial accounting purposes.

PASSED by the Town Council this 10th day of October, 2013.

TOWN OF LACROSSE

ORDINANCE NO. 373 2013-10

RCW 84.55.120

WHEREAS, the Town of LaCrosse has met and considered its budget for the calendar year 2014; and,

WHEREAS, the districts actual levy amount from the previous year was $32,465.36; and,

WHEREAS, the population of this district is less than 10,000; and now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the taxing district that an increase in the regular property tax levy is hereby authorized for the levy to be collected in the 2014 tax year.

The dollar amount of the increase over the actual levy amount from the previous year shall be $ 324.65 which is a percentage increase of 1% from the previous year. This increase is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from new construction, improvements to property, newly constructed wind turbines, any increase in the value of state assessed property, any annexations that have occurred and refunds made.

The City of Tekoa adopted Ordinance No. 809 at the July 1, 2013 council meeting. The ordinance increases the TIB Warren Street Fund No. 460 to $706,837.00. The council also adopted

Ordinance No. 810 at the September 16, 2013 council meeting. The ordinance increases the Street Fund No. 104 to $166,140.33. Complete copies of these ordinances can be obtained

Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced.

The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) thirty days after the Personal Representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020; or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice.

If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060.

This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent's probate and nonprobate assets.

2013 BUDGET AMENDMENT

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON, WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance No. 220-12 thereby revising the Current Expense Fund, Street Fund, Water Fund and Sewer Fund, which were set forth in the 2013 Annual Budget for the Town of Farmington.

THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON does ordain as follows:

SECTION 1. Ordinance No 220-12 adopting the “2013 Annual Budget for the Town of Farmington, Washington” is hereby amended to include those particular budget revisions set forth in Section 2, below.
