City will cover park paint bill

Colfax City Council Monday night voted to cover excess paint costs for the skate park painting project. Sam Korslund, kids pastor for Catalyst Church, reported paint expenses topped the $250 authorized by the city. Donations and the church covered the difference, but city council members decided to cover the excess cost out of maintenance funds.
