‘Stuff the Bus’ drive slated in five towns

Spearheaded by the Kiwanis Clubs of Pullman and Moscow, the fifth annual Stuff the Bus drive for school supplies will be Aug. 8-10 in collaboration with Pullman Child Welfare and the Pullman, Colfax, Colton and Moscow school districts,

“We want all students to start school with the tools to succeed,” said Sandra Woodrow, member of Pullman Kiwanis.

School bus drop-off locations will be Dissmores IGA and Wheatland Mall in Pullman, Rosauers in Colfax, Eastside Marketplace and Staples in Moscow. Dates and hours are Aug. 8: 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 9: 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Aug. 10: 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Drop-off locations for Colton are Dave’s Golf Shop and Colton Family Child Care. Locations for Uniontown are The Gathering Place and AmericanWest Bank. All four sites will accept donations Aug. 5-10 during their open business hours. Colton will also have a school bus drop-off location.

Neill Library in Pullman and Whitman Hospital in Colfax will also be drop locations during operating hours.

Dissmores and Staples are supporting the drive with pre-packaged school supplies for shoppers to purchase and donate.
